This year, again, we held our traditional "AnAs- Chromatography Day". On Sept. 25th we were for the first time in Split, and on Sept. 26th 2017. we were on our traditional meeting point - the Palace Hotel in Zagreb.

Our lecturers were colleagues from Restek - Becky Wittrig and Jaap De Zeeuw, both already well known to our faithful visitors. In a very interesting way they recall our knowledge on basics of the chromatography and taught us how to apply the theory in practice, to get the fastest analysis and best separation.

Based on examples from their long-term chromatographic practice they have pointed to some common mistakes that affect the quality of the analysis and can easily be avoided by regular replacement of consumables and by proper handling and maintenance of chromatographic systems.

In addition to Restek, commercial presentations about Teledyne ISCO (Flash Chromatography) and Scion Instruments (GC, GC / MS, GC Analyzers - standard and specially designed to meet the needs of users) were given.

As in previous years, the interest in these lectures was very high, so more than 100 users attended the seminars and they evaluated seminar as very useful and educative.
